Family Bingo: Summer Vacay! | Tuesday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m.
Head to the Library for a night of family gaming fun! Winners will have a choice of prizes. Family Bingo is a drop-in event and registration is not required to attend. Space is limited, and players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Al Capone and the 1933 World’s Fair | Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m.
Join us in welcoming author William Hazelgrove as he discusses his book, Al Capone and the 1933 World’s Fair: The End of the Gangster Era in Chicago—the exciting and sprawling history behind the 1933 World’s Fair. We’ll take a historical look at Chicago during the bleakest days of the Great Depression, as the city was fighting the hold of organized crime and fighting to survive.
Family Movie Night: Ferdinand | Tuesday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bensenville Library
Take advantage of stadium seating, new HD projection, and free popcorn in the Library’s auditorium for a showing of Ferdinand. Admission to the show is free!
Summer Reading Kick Off | Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Join us at the Library and kick off Summer Reading 2018! Kids and adults can sign up for Summer Reading, stop by the Library’s used book sale between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and enjoy a FREE hot dog! Don’t miss the Touch-A-Truck taking place outside the Library—check out local cars and trucks, including a DuPage Co. Sheriff’s car, Bensenville Police Cruiser, and many more!
