The Library will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

Bingo for Kids! | May 28 | Baby Animal Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

Children 12 and younger can head to the Library for a night of gaming fun, where players have a chance to win Bingo Bucks that they can redeem for prizes. Space is limited to the first 30 children, and players will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis!

Meditation: Escaping the Frantic World We Live In | Thursday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m.

Where can we find peace in our world? Through meditation you can experience calm and bliss, which frees us from stress, as well as pain and suffering. Join long time meditator Zelma Chamberlain, M. Ed for this powerful workshop. There will be a short meditation sitting to give participants a chance to practice the technique of meditation.

Queen Victoria: Lecture by Leslie Goddard | Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m.

In this illustrated lecture, historian Leslie Goddard, Ph.D., chronicles the life of Victoria, Queen of Great Britain and sovereign of an empire on which the sun never set. Using a wealth of photographs, paintings, and objects, join us as Leslie explores Victoria’s rise to the throne at age 18, her marriage to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg, and her astonishing reign of 64 years.

Summer Reading Kick Off Event | Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Join us at the Library and kick off Summer Reading 2019: Read Wildly! At the event, kids and adults can sign up for Summer Reading, stop by the Library’s used book sale between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., enjoy a FREE hot dog, donate to our Pet Supply Donation Drive, and SO much more!
